Safeguard Training The Dates for the advanced safeguard training are on the Noticeboard. Please book on the one you want as soon as possible as the places are limited -oOo-

J M A Boxes Anyone who has a J.M.A box can they please let Mrs A Stephenson have it by the beginning of August, all money needs to be sent on before the 20th August.

Praise Services Continuing our series of Praise Services, the next one will be a Songs of Praise on Sunday 7 July at 10.30am. Each praise service will have a different focus and format. And in preparing for the next one, members of the congregation are invited to think about their favourite hymns/songs, both old and new! Please complete the suggestion slips which can be found on the table near “Our Joys & Frustrations” and put your choices in the plastic Envelope. Thank you -oOo- Strawberry Cream Tea On Saturday 13th July we will be having a Strawberry Cream Tea at Church from 1pm until 3pm a few people from Lighthouse Fellowship have offered to help but help from other people would be greatly appreciated either on the day or, preparing the hall, baking cakes for a stall (always a winner) and if anyone has any ideas of other thing we can do to bring people in that would be appreciated also, please see Ann Stephenson Price and further details later -oOo-

Dragon Academy Holiday Club This annual event will be held here again at Christ Church on 29th July till 2 August Daily 10 am -12 noon, and is for children age 511 years Registration letters are now available from Christ Church, or contact Naomi Rostron Naomi.children and [email protected] Details are on a poster pinned onto the coffee lounge notice board

COSMOS During the Six weeks + school holidays starting at the end of July we would like continuity for the children while the COSMOS leaders take a well-earned break, if anyone can offer their services to do something for one Sunday during these holidays ( there will still be family services ?), anything that you are interested in, crafts, learning new young people’s songs, out playing games etc. please can you see Ann Stephenson or any Elder. -oOo- Holiday Club meeting There will be a meeting for holiday club volunteers at 12noon (after the service) on Sunday 7th July. All who are interested in helping are welcome to attend. This meeting will be a chance to update volunteers on the plans for Dragon Academy, and to organise any final preparations. -oOo-

Ladies Allsorts The Ladies fellowship will meet again on Monday 1 July. here in the coffee lounge at 2 pm. They will be holding their Rainbow Silent Auction. All are welcome. -oOo-

Beatles Sing along On Saturday the 3rd of August 2019 the Kaleidoscope Pies are doing a Beatles sing along, tickets are £10 per person and doors will open at 7:30 p.m. The ticket price includes a pasty and peas supper and there will be a raffle – all to raise money for the great work Urban Outreach does! Please come and join us and tell your friends it will be a great evening. Tickets are now on sale!! All proceeds to Urban Outreach Bolton.
